Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A woman allegedly attacked and chopped off the private parts of a man after he refused to marry her. The case has been reported in Bihar's Saran district, police said on Tuesday.
The alleged incident occurred on Monday, under the Marhowrah Police Station jurisdiction. The police further added that the victim and the accused were in a relationship for two years.
Cops arrived on the spot after getting the information and sent the victim, identified as Bed Prakash, to a local hospital for treatment. Later, he was referred to Patna's Srishti Hospital.
The woman was taken to the police station for questioning. "During questioning, the woman revealed that both of them had been in a relationship for the last two years. On Monday, both of them were going to marry each other in a court in Chhapra, but the man refused at the last moment, leading to such an incident," police said.
